What Is M&A Target Screening?

We provide our customers with a list of relevant targets for potential acquisition based on strict and sound screening criteria. The list of potential targets can be divided into groups based on their strategic fit to the acquirer's business. Upon completion of the selection process, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the target companies and accumulate our findings in an M&A Target Screening. M&A target screening is an essential component of an effective M&A strategy implementation, helping you to accurately assess the targets and drive corporate business strategies forward.

What Was The Challenge?

Our customer is a privately owned company from Belgium, operating in healthcare sector, who wanted to scale business through acquisition. Kyiv Consulting was engaged to conduct screening and find a relevant M&A target satisfying customised selection criteria. Our customer limited our selection criteria with a set of his own, such as the target’s operating performance (EBIDTA ≤EUR 3.0 mln), its footprint (presence in Europe) and field of business activity (home healthcare services or alike). Research & Analytics Hub was assigned to conduct a screening and shortlist M&A targets matching the customer’s strategic criteria and objectives.
